Job Overview: As a Video Editor at Creatorhood, you will play a crucial role in bringing our client’s stories to life. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate with the Creative Director to edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished product that is social media ready. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a creative mind, and the ability to create engaging, high-quality video content. Additionally, you should be skilled in creating animated intro clips using After Effects.
Key Responsibilities:
? Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product for client projects and internal brand videos.
? Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and contribute to the creative process.
? Create engaging and visually appealing animated intro clips using After Effects.
? Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video.
? Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as needed.
? Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
? Provide final cut for review and make revisions based on feedback.
? Manage multiple projects, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
? Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
? Proficient in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
? Strong understanding of post-production processes, including editing, color grading, and audio mixing.
? Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
? Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
? Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
? Creative mind and storytelling skills.
