We are looking for a remarkable, freelance/contractor Social Media Video Content Creator for our five consumer brands – Pure Enrichment, Bentgo, Verilux… Brusheez, and EasyLunchboxes. The ideal candidate will have a history of exceptional social media content creation with a focus on consumer products in various industries related to food storage, health, wellness, and baby. This role requires exceptional project management, communication, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach within our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
**This is a part-time/contractor role, approximately 15 hours per week to start.***
Core Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Digital Marketing, Social Media Manager, and Social Media Specialist on social strategy and ensure the highest brand standards for our social media channels
Independently lead and build out our brands on TikTok, while developing engaging content around new product launches, seasonal campaigns, FAQs, brand partnerships, and more
Plan, concept, produce, and edit high-quality video content for TikTok (which may be repurposed to Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Social Ads, and more)
Shoot content primarily using an iPhone (potentially other professional camera equipment they provide)
Edit and refine content to meet brand standards, in addition to optimizing final exports for the various social media platforms with best practices in mind
Project manage assigned projects and content deliverables. Lead and communicate with the Marketing Team to ensure projects are created, routed, reviewed, and completed on time.
Assist with integrating and updating the broader Marketing Calendar to include social video content
Manage the organization of all internally shot social content to ensure they are named, filed, and saved correctly for future use
Attend and assist on all local video and photo shoots that may be in-office or on location in Orange County
Assist the broader Social Media Team as needed with miscellaneous projects
Stay up to date with marketing and social media trends, best practices, and bring new strategic ideas to take our social media to the next level
Skills and Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years experience required working with social media platforms
2+ years of demonstrated experience in creating high-quality social media content for a consumer brand or business
Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, features, and best practices
Proficient in shooting content using an iPhone, familiarity with professional camera equipment is a plus
Strong video editing skills and proficiency in editing software/tools
Creative and engaging approach to producing high-quality social content quickly and efficiently
Well-versed in the following categories is a plus: wellness, food, lifestyle, family, health, and home décor.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Organized self-starter with a knack for getting scrappy when need be
Comfortable both on-camera and behind the camera
Experience with Asana and Slack very helpful
Strong project management, organization, and communication skills
This is a freelance/contractor position that will report to the Director of Digital Marketing in our Santa Ana, CA office, working a hybrid schedule (currently in-office on Tuesday and working from home Monday, Wednesday-Friday, but subject to change). Only local candidates will be considered
