Job Responsibilities…
As a Paraprofessional, you will play a critical role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students, particularly those with special needs. Some typical responsibilities include:
Assisting teachers in the classroom with instructional support.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
Helping students with daily tasks, including personal care or behavioral needs.
Monitoring students’ progress and reporting to teachers and staff.
Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Collaborating with educators, therapists, and other school staff to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Must meet all local and state regulations for Paraprofessionals.
Previous experience working with special education students is highly preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
