Job Description
CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Remote Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence and ability to obtain licensure in other states as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with technology and virtual communication tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth nursing services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers across various disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in the EMR system.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Support patients in navigating the healthcare system and accessing necessary resources.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CDE, CCM) are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in telehealth or remote patient monitoring preferred.
