What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Verify member eligibility and health plan benefits using established guidelines
– Communicate with providers regarding authorizations, modifications, and denials
– Monitor patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
– Prepare denial letters for review by Medical Director or Nurse Reviewer(s)
– Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for processing authorizations
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Strong analytical skills to review compliance documentation and performance metrics
– Experience in delegation coordination and compliance auditing
– Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
– Professional communication skills and attention to detail
– Availability to work Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience in healthcare-related roles or authorization processes
– Familiarity with Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and quality improvement initiatives
– Previous experience in a remote work environment
