What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Answer all inbound calls and route appropriately utilizing scripting and warm transfers
? Provide support to team members as needed
? Accurately and efficiently enter or update all demographics and incoming referrals to sub-specialty departments
? Reach out to PCP’s via phone and/or fax to answer routine to complex questions regarding referrals
? Coordinate multiple appointment requests with sub-specialty department representatives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High School Diploma, GED, or a higher level of education that would require the completion of high school
? Minimum of 6 months experience as a receptionist in a Physician Office or equivalent
? Typing speed of 50 wpm or greater with minimal errors
? Exceptional attention to detail and HIPAA compliance
? Effective communication and interpersonal skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? 0-2 years of experience as a referral specialist or similar role in a healthcare setting
