**Job Title: Cashier (Part-Time) – Murfreesboro**
**Job Summary**
Walmart is looking to hire a part-time Cashier for our store in Murfreesboro. This is an hourly, part-time position with a maximum of 4 hours per shift. **Job Description**
As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, assisting with customer queries, keeping the checkout area clean and orderly, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
– Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
– Issue change, receipts, and refunds
– Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy
– Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
– Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
– Greet customers when they enter or leave the store
– Keep reports of transactions
**Requirements**
– Proven working experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in sales
– Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners, money counters)
– Strong communication and time management skills
– Customer satisfaction-oriented
– High school degree
