Position: Virtual Patient Navigator, Diabetes East Remote
IQVIA is currently looking for a Virtual Patient Navigator to join their team. The Virtual Patient Navigator will provide education about specific diabetes treatments and resources to help patients better manage their diabetes and associated prescribed medication. They will engage with patients through various communication channels… strictly following program guidelines, focusing on education rather than providing medical advice.
Required and
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or BSN Required
3+ years as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) required
Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients required
Healthcare-related certifications like Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, etc., are preferred
Contact Center Experience using a telephony platform is strongly preferred
Motivational Interviewing experience preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Must work from a dedicated workspace in their primary home residence
Experience with direct patient interaction and support for persistence and compliance
Demonstrated time management, planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills
Effective presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Build relationships with customers and cross-functional partners
Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Excellent documentation accuracy
Enthusiasm for supporting patients, good listening, and problem-solving skills
Bilingual (Spanish and English) is desirable
