Position Summary/Job Duties:
ISO a friendly and playful individual for after school care for 3 boys: 1st grade, 5th grade and 6th grade. Hours would be from 2:30-5:30 or 6:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday. Additional hours may be available on non-school days or weekends, if interested, and could extend to summer if desired.
Our oldest son has developmental disabilities, so this is a fantastic opportunity for future teachers, occupational, speech or physical therapists, or others in the medical profession. He needs adult assistance with toileting, and additional respite hours would be available for an interested applicant. He loves to go on field trips to grocery stores, Target, Home Depot or Menards–get paid to take him along on your errands! Experience working with children with autism or developmental delay required.
Though we have a Verona mailing address, we are actually located in the Cherrywood Neighborhood off of Mineral Point Road in the Town of Middleton.
Qualifications:
Child care experience
CPR training or willing to become certified
Experience with special needs required
Transportation required
