Responsibilities…
Submitting insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
Collaborating with insurance companies to resolve claim denials and ensure timely submission of medical records.
Proficiently coding office visits to ensure accurate billing.
Communicating with patients regarding accounts receivable and outstanding balances.
Educating patients on Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
Requirements
Prior experience in healthcare billing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding practices.
Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and insurance companies.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Reliable home internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.
Access to a smartphone.
