Responsibilities
Maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operation of approximately six air separation plants via computer interface while on shift
Respond to and troubleshoot process upsets and plant problems
Manage alarms and responses
Perform plant shutdowns and startups
Handle power management and emergency responses
Monitor Key Performance Indicators and escalate any identified deficiencies
Communicate plant status and performance to the business
Provide ad-hoc support for non-ROC plants on a reactionary basis
Maintain the integrity of the Messer Operations Network through adherence to security practices
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
One of the following:
Minimum of 2 years of plant experience in a process plant operations role (chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, power, etc.)
Military experience (Navy Nukes, Navy Fire Controlman, Air Force Fuels)
Recent college graduates with an engineering or physical science degree
Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant plant experience or equivalent military experience
Recent graduates with applicable degrees are also considered
