Oppo Reno 9A is a new offering by the Chinese smartphone maker in the mid-range segment in Japan. This is the latest Reno 9 series handset with a glass build and various color options. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. Along with this, there is also a full HD + screen with 90Hz refresh rate and hole punch display design. Oppo Reno 9A has a triple rear camera, in which the primary sensor of 48 megapixels is the main one. The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that comes with 18W fast charging. Up to 39 hours of audio playback is guaranteed from a single charge of this battery.

The Oppo Reno 9A is priced at JPY 41,980 (roughly Rs. 25,000) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It is offered in Moon White and Night Black shades. It is currently available for pre-order through different e-commerce websites like Rakuten, YMobile, and Iijmio and will go on sale in Japan starting June 22.

The Oppo Reno 9A comes with ColorOS 13 software based on Android 13 and sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling. The display offers 100% coverage of DCI-P3 color gamut with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and 409ppi pixel density. It has a hole-punch cutout on the top left corner. This new Oppo smartphone is based on an octa-core Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, coupled with Adreno A61 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. In this, up to 16 GB can be used as additional storage.

Oppo Reno 9A packs 128GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage, and it can be expanded (up to 1TB) via microSD card. Its connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, OTG, Beidou, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZ, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, and gyroscope. Furthermore, it supports Face Unlock feature and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo Reno 9A packs a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It is claimed that this battery can be given up to 39 hours of audio playback and 20 hours of video playback time on a single charge. It is also water resistance thanks to the IPX8 rating. Furthermore, it bears dimensions of 160x74x7.8mm and weighs 183 grams.
